Well friends, April was tough: a whole month of shut-down. However, it was not without its own bright moments. We were able to have an Adelphe meeting via Zoom early in the month, and it was SO good to see everyone even through a computer! Michaela got on an did a short lesson about what we should learn from this time during the pandemic. It will have lasting effects on many people's lives, the economy, and the church, and it is not something to take lightly. She (and the rest of us) have high hopes that the church will come out on the other side of this crisis stronger and bolder than before. That is our prayer, and I hope that you will make it yours as well. Hopefully many of you (if not all) have received letters of encouragement from an Adelphe lady. We had to adjust our monthly service project to be something that could be accomplished from our individual homes, and our own Emily Farrell had the wonderful idea of sending out letters to the members of the church :).
